How it works

Everything a coin on Tarlan does, in plain words.

1:Section

The idea

Denominated in a stock
Unit:

A coin on Tarlan has a pair asset: a tokenised stock such as TSLA or NVDA. Its bonding curve holds that stock, not ETH. Every buy is paid in the stock, every sell pays out the stock, and the pool it graduates into is paired with the stock.

The coin does not track the stock. Its price is set by its own curve: how much of the stock people have put in against how many coins are left. A coin in TSLA can go up while Tesla goes down, and the other way round. What the stock gives you is the unit: you measure the market in shares.

Stocks:

66 assets are available: Robinhood's tokenised stocks and ETFs, plus gold, silver, oil, the dollar and bitcoin. The list comes from the pons v2 factory's own approvals and is re-checked on chain before every launch. See them all.

A coin's life

Launch to graduation
01

Launch

One transaction to the pons v2 factory: name, ticker, picture, the stock you picked, and the platform treasury as fee recipient. pons charges a small launch fee in ETH.

02

Curve

The coin starts on a bonding curve with a virtual reserve of the stock. Buys push the price up, sells bring it down. Buyers approve the stock once, then buy.

03

Fees

Every trade pays 1% to pons and a 2% creator tax in the stock to the treasury. The keeper sweeps it and pays creators or holders by fee mode.

04

Graduation

When the real stock in the curve reaches the threshold, pons sweeps it into a Uniswap v4 pool paired with the same stock. The curve closes; trading continues there.

Fee modes

Picked at launch, fixed after
Mode 01:

All to the platform. The whole 2% stays with the treasury.

Mode 02:

Half to the creator. 1% to the platform, 1% sent to the launcher's wallet in the same stock by the keeper, once enough has been swept to cover gas.

Mode 03:

Half to holders. 1% to the platform, 1% split among holders by balance, in the stock. The curve and the treasury are not counted as holders.

On chain:

pons only knows one fee recipient per coin: the treasury (0x10a5698A…). The split is bookkeeping the keeper settles; every payout is a public transfer you can check on the live feed.

Risks

Read before you sign
  • ● pons v2 is a third party and is not audited. It can pause launches, change terms or have bugs.
  • ● Launch coins are speculative and can lose all value. A coin in a stock is not the stock and is not backed by it.
  • ● The stocks are issued by Robinhood and other issuers, not by Tarlan. They can be paused, frozen or delisted by their issuers, which would freeze the coins that trade in them.
  • ● The first seconds after a launch carry a snipe tax on buys. Slippage on thin curves can be large.
  • ● Nothing on this site is investment advice or an offer to sell securities. Check the rules where you live.
